The European Commission has published on 27 January 2014 a new requirement –“Operational Suitability Data” (OSD) The principle of OSD is that the aircraft manufacturers are required to establish certain data that is considered important for safe operation of the type. This data will be approved by the Agency under the type certificate and is then used by operators and training organisations. The data consists of the master minimum equipment list (MMEL), type specific data for training of pilots, cabin crew, and maintenance crew as well as data for qualification of simulators.
For companies requiring 30 or more course licences, TATA can also provide a comprehensive course management service, including monitoring, evaluating and planning functions.
