Our Human Factors course is appropriate for an “Initial” or a “continuation” training course (the certificate simply states “Human Factors” – should you wish to have either the words “Initial” or “continuation” on your certificate please email us as this can be easily be arranged.)

Our Human Factors course meets the requirements of EASA GM-145.A.30(e).

Please take each module in order. First, start with the pre-test questions. These do not count towards your pass mark. They are simply a way for you to find out what you already know. Then, watch the short video tutorial and finally answer the post test questions. The post test questions count towards your overall pass mark, so please pay close attention to the video content. A pass mark of 75% is required to gain your certificate.

Please follow this process for the remaining nine modules. In total, the whole course should take around one and a half hours to complete. You do not have to watch all the videos at the same time, the system remembers your progress for the next time you log on.

In the first module we shall introduce you to the concept of Human Error and start our discovery into the world of aviation safety.

I’m a passionate & inspirational human factors speaker and group facilitator, with 16 years’ experience delivering cultural change programs to the aviation industry. I challenge behaviours and mindsets to support and empower your workforce, enabling improvements in individual and organizational safety performance and wellbeing.

In aviation since 1998, I bring a wealth of experience to your event, classroom or boardroom. I specialise in improving airworthiness and safety culture through understanding human behaviour and error.

I run Human Factors and Safety Management systems workshops, focusing on cultural change with leadership, key stakeholders and the general workforce. Aiding the establishment of a “Just Culture” is a priority for me. I’ve worked with defence and civil aviation companies, both fixed and rotary wing. I’ve worked with pilots, cabin crew, engineers, executive teams, and people from supporting roles such as CAMO, planning and IT.

I’ve noticed more and more people are suffering from stress and mental health issues, and as such I take a keen interest in wellbeing. I’m a qualified meditation leader and specialise in other complimentary health techniques to aid relaxation and wellbeing. I offer these services as an additional workshop.
