This course updates the training for the State Safety Programme required by ICAO Annex 19 Edition 2.  It explains the changes in the new Edition, how to construct an Acceptable Level of Safety Performance (ALoSP) for the State, the new State responsibilities for hazard identification and risk assessment, and the (now mandatory) Safety Information Protection requirements, as well as the general content of the State Safety Programme and Safety Management Systems.  It is ideal for those involved in building the SSP.  The whole course can be completed in one hour (or separated into individual modules) and includes a Certificate as evidence of training.  SSP training for senior management and inspectors is specified in the ICAO SMM V4 (Doc 9859) and the ICAO PQs.

This course highlights the importance and different elements of a (mandatory) State Safety Program. If this course is provided to your staff, a certificate is issued when finished and the questions have been correctly answered the organisation has met the ICAO requirement on ‘making the staff aware on the SSP and related issues’.

For Civil Aviation Authorities we can, when sufficient licences are purchased, tailor this course to meet specific national needs.
