Course for Category 8 staff (Operator’s and ground handling agent’s staff involved in the handling, storage and loading of cargo or mail and baggage).

The carriage of dangerous goods is governed internationally by ICAO Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air, which in turn are reflected in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.  An essential element to ensuring safety is good quality training, and one of these parties, loading staff, have often been overlooked.

TATA is able to provide a self-study module which, when supplemented by test to verify understanding (which can either be provided by TATA or the employer), meets the requirement of ICAO and IATA.

For companies requiring 30 or more course licences, TATA can also provide a comprehensive course management service, including monitoring, evaluating and planning functions. Companies may wish to utilise TATA’s existing courses, or have a course tailored specifically for their staff training. For all of these cases, and for any other enquiries, please contact TATA so that appropriate course delivery arrangements and fees can be agreed.”
