Description

Security is a concern for everyone in the industry, affecting virtually all areas of operation. Whether you work with passengers, cargo or at a security checkpoint, you have a role in keeping the industry safe.

This course introduces you to the security measures and regulations you need to know to work responsibly in the industry. It also provides examples of practices you can apply in your workplace to identify and prevent potential security threats.

Susie Møller Frederiksen
CEO at Avsec Consulting

I am CEO in Avsec Consulting ApS and have a very extensive knowledge about EU Regulations and Danish Regulations from my work as Senior Executive Advisor in the Danish Transport Authority and as the Danish technical expert in the Avsec Committee in EU.
I am an EU Security Validator and validate Known Suppliers to airports and air carriers. This includes assessing and approving security programmes of companies and examine their locations and the security measures in place.
I founded Avsec Consulting in 2015, which offers consulting services to all entities obliged by the Security Regulation – airports, air carriers, cargo entities, catering companies, known consignors, hauliers and different suppliers to airports and air carriers.
Avsec Consulting offers advice and assists entities in drafting security programmes and getting necessary approvals from the authorities – for instance when establishing a new airport, establishing a new cargo agent/catering company etc. Furthermore, Avsec Consulting assists in management of projects in connection with all phases of purchasing of security equipment.
Avsec Consulting performs different training and re-current training of security staff at airports, air carriers, cargo agents, catering companies and Known Suppliers.

For companies requiring 30 or more course licences, TATA can also provide a comprehensive course management service, including monitoring, evaluating and planning functions. Companies may wish to utilise TATA’s existing courses, or have a course tailored specifically for their staff training. For all of these cases, and for any other enquiries, please contact TATA so that appropriate course delivery arrangements and fees can be agreed.”
