Section 2 outlines the operators and crew members’ responsibilities.

Flight Time Limitation Rules, Duty Periods and their extension, both at the
planning stage, and after a duty’s started, is the topic of Section 3.

Stand Down procedures as well as various roster duties assignments are
explained in Section 4. Crew members’ rest period entitlements are the
subject of section 5. Penultimate section is about positioning, the limits
on duty and flying hour and the crew nutrition.

Description

In this course you will learn about Flight Time Limitations and Rest
Requirement for crew members. You will gain an understanding of the rules
governing crew scheduling and their implementation at the rostering and
post-rostering stages. Furthermore you will learn about your and your
company’s responsibilities and EASA guidelines used in this process.

The aim of the course is to ensure you understand your rights as well as
your responsibilities and are able to adequately plan your work/rest periods
to enable you to remain suitably alerted during your work periods.

The course material meets the requirements of European Commission Regulation
No 965/2012, Annex III – SUBPART FTL.
